Hi, I'm Celene. My approach is grounded in compassion, empathy, and evidence-based techniques. I integrate my background in law enforcement with my passion for mindfulness and emotionally focused therapy to create a unique and effective path to healing. I specialize in helping individuals of all ages work through trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.
Trauma can impact us in countless ways, often making us feel disconnected, overwhelmed, and stuck. With nearly a decade of experience in law enforcement, I’ve seen firsthand how these challenges can unfold and how vital it is to have the proper support. I’m here to work with you to understand the root of your distress and help you build effective coping strategies to navigate life’s ups and downs. Whether you’re grappling with intense emotions, old wounds, communication hurdles, or the lasting effects of prolonged trauma, I’m committed to providing the support you need to move forward with resilience.
To make therapy as accessible and convenient as possible, I offer virtual sessions only, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your own space. Whether you're balancing a busy schedule or simply prefer the flexibility of online therapy, I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for meaningful growth and healing.
I’m based in Nova Scotia, where I live with my husband and our two rescue dogs, Hershey and Link. In my spare time, you can often find me lost in a psychological thriller or exploring the outdoors on a hike.
Taking the first step toward seeking therapy can often feel daunting, but I want to assure you that you are not alone. If you are ready to embark on this journey, please contact me to schedule a session. I look forward to walking alongside you.
